Shopping in Christmas magic
Our Westfield destinations have once again been transformed into real winter wonderlands over the past few weeks! Together with you, we’ve again been able to create unforgettable moments for the many visitors this pre-Christmas season, making Christmas shopping a special experience and fuelling anticipation for the festive season.
One special highlight was the breathtaking Sephora drone show which lit up the skies above the Westfield Centro Christmas market between 10 and 13 December, with hundreds of drones dancing in perfectly coordinated choreographies and painting sparkling images in the darkness. A lot of visitors then took the opportunity to pop into the Sephora store, where little surprises awaited them. The company also used its social media channels to draw attention to the festive campaign.
Rituals opens Christmas hotel
Rituals transformed the Westfield Donau Zentrum into the “Hotel Rituals”, with an impressive Christmas tree made of gift boxes and walking acts dressed as hotel bellboys handing out small, scented cards. This drew attention to the carefully prepared initiatives like the personalised luggage tags made in-store and the Christmas cards waiting to be written at a dedicated counter. Rituals also spread festive joy at Westfield Centro and Westfield Ruhr Park with various promotions.
Of course, there were many more cool promos in and around our centres, some of them featured in our Best Cases. Once again, the Christmas markets were real crowd-pullers – after all, there’s no better way to get into the festive spirit than sipping tasty mulled wine amidst lovingly decorated stalls.
It wasn’t just the countless present-hunters flocking to our destinations again this year that were enchanted by all this pre-Christmas magic – we also really enjoyed the run-up to the festive season and the special atmosphere in the centres. Now that Christmas Eve is just around the corner, we at the Gang wish you a festive season full of joy, warmth and magical moments.
