Things are getting sporty in Oberhausen! At the end of November, adidas and the PTH Group opened a brand-new franchise store at Westfield Centro in Oberhausen. To promote the shop, the popular sporting goods manufacturer is relying on an extensive media package advertising the opening in and around the shopping centre until June 2024 – and at the same time inaugurating an all-new medium at the centre. The 620 sqm store not only offers everything a sporting heart desires, it’s also the first store in Germany to use the brand new “Home of Sports” store design.
Advertising on various ad spaces
Under the new concept, the sports specialist uses mainly light-coloured, sustainable materials to create a pleasant shopping atmosphere, featuring furniture made from recyclable fabrics and with playful elements such as playing field markings on the floors and 3D-printed mannequins in a variety of body shapes, age groups and cultures. With this design, the sports manufacturer reflects important values of its corporate philosophy such as sport, culture, diversity and sustainability.
