Sheer anticipation for FALKE at Schönhauser Allee Arcaden
- Stylish wooden stand in the run-up to Christmas
- A wide range of high-quality socks and tights
- A feature of the Schönhauser Allee Arcaden for several years now
As summer fades, a certain restlessness starts making itself felt among shopping fans in Berlin. Once the days start getting shorter and outside temperatures begin to drop, enquiries start to flood into the centre management offices at Schönhauser Allee Arcaden, asking when the FALKE stand is finally going to be back. In 2021, the wait ended one sunny Thursday in September. From then until the beginning of January, chic socks and tights were once again on display, attracting shopping centre visitors to the sales stand in the middle of one of the high-footcount shopping alleys.
This successful family business has been collaborating with URW for several years now. As soon as the first chill fills the air, it presents its high-quality legwear in the popular mall situated in Berlin’s trendy Prenzlauer Berg district. The elaborately produced collections have now built up a real fan base in the German capital, and 2021 saw people once more veritably flocking to the stand which is festively designed in warm wooden tones.
Heritage company meets Berlin’s neighbourhood scene
The lovingly applied detail of these popular winter accessories is shown off to particularly good effect in the recently renovated mall whose stylish ambience puts novel products (literally) in the best light thanks to a superb new lighting system. This mix of well-known brands and local labels and designers attracts six million shoppers each year, and the mix of shopping centre, place-to-be, rooftop bar and co-working space appeals both to families and to the local young neighbourhood creatives.
