Why we sometimes also go shopping in the Netherlands
Even though the new Westfield Mall of the Netherlands – as the name suggests – is located in the Netherlands, we simply have to tell you about this extraordinary shopping and leisure centre. The centre in Leidschendam near The Hague truly has a lot to offer.
In a unique atmosphere, 280 shops featuring trendy international and local brands are there to welcome you, with many restaurants and bars offering delicacies from all over the world in not one, but two, food areas: the ‘Eet Theater’ and the ‘Fresh’ indoor market hall which also hosts cooking events. Numerous leisure facilities such as the centre’s own Kinepolis cinema using MX4D technology, the huge indoor playground, the bowling green and crazy golf course or the Youseum – a selfie paradise for the ultimate pictures for TikTok, Instagram, etc. – make the mall the perfect day-out destination for the whole family. ‘The Gallery’, a stomping ground for regional designers and up-and-coming brands, invites fashion fans to browse through hip concept stores and unusual pop-up outlets.
