When cars are showcased throughout a Viennese shopping centre, it can mean only one thing: the MADONNA Driving Days are back! For the fourth time, visitors were able to experience car innovations at the flagship destination Westfield Donau Zentrum, and as if that were not enough, this time was an absolute first, as the MADONNA Driving Days were also held at our second Viennese shopping destination, Westfield Shopping City Süd. Of course, the gang was right in the middle of things, taking a closer look at the models to report it all to you. Spoiler alert: we’re thrilled to bits!
Welcome to next-gen (electric) mobility
The collaboration between local car dealerships in and around Vienna with Austrian newspaper MADONNA and our Westfield centres provides a true spectacle every year, and one we especially look forward to. Visitors always get glints in their eyes when the latest generation of EV runabouts and top-of-the-range automobiles come into view. And rightly so: after all, visitors are actively encouraged to take a closer look at the much sought-after newcomers at the venue, and try them out for themselves – getting all the benefit of top advice and guidance provided as a matter of course by the car dealerships.
This time, the models on show focused on the EV segment, and the direct interaction with potential customers was of particular importance to the car dealers involved. The MADONNA Driving Days were staged at the Westfield Donau Zentrum on 13 and 14 October with six companies presenting their latest top models from well-known brands such as Opel, Suzuki, Toyota, Mercedes, Ford and many more. The brand new “smart#1” electric compact SUV was also in attendance.
The second extravaganza then followed on 20 and 21 October at Westfield Shopping City Süd where the latest models from KIA, Volvo, Lotus Cars and Isuzu wowed visitors in the central multi-storey car park of Shopping City Süd which proved to be the perfect venue for a car show.
Unique brand experience in all event areas
Accordingly, the event areas in the centres were full to the brim – and not just with petrol-heads, because once again the promotion days offered a unique brand experience to all visitors. “The MADONNA Driving Days represent real added value for our centres and our customers, especially in terms of getting them more familiar with EV mobility. We’re delighted with the collaboration and are already excited about which brands and dealerships will be presenting their brand new models at the event next time around,” said gang member Sarah, summing up this year’s successful events.
