We have the greatest ones – shopping centres in Austria, that is. We have the most attention-grabbing premium screens in our malls. And now we’ve also got the most experienced marketing partner on board. We’re delighted to announce that Goldbach Austria is now the exclusive marketer of digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising space in our Austrian destinations. This is the logical next step in what is a strong partnership: Goldbach Germany has been working with the Gang for many years on implementing the high-reach DOOH campaigns in our German centres.

With the screens in the Viennese flagship destinations, Goldbach Austria’s portfolio is growing to include some amazing highlights. For example, the malls have five large-format big screens and mega screens covering a total area of over 80 square metres of advertising space in a prime location right at the point of sale. These include the largest double-sided, transparent digital screen in the world, measuring 2 x 18 sqm right next to the Water Plaza, and the oversized outdoor screen above the high-footcount Entrance 5 at Westfield Shopping City Süd. At Westfield Donau Zentrum, the 30 sqm LED mega screen by the bridge from the West Mall to the Main Mall and the billboard back-side LED mega screen attract everyone’s attention.

Programmatic Shopping Channel

More than enough space to draw the attention of the 44 million visitors flocking to both centres each year to cool brands and new products. But that’s still not enough for us, and we’re already planning to grow the media offering at both locations, for example by upgrading the screens to also include programmatic campaigns.

“This guarantees a flexible and targeted approach at the POS and along associated walkways. On top of this is unique coverage for all campaigns in the shopping environment,” explained Patrick Hengl, DOOH Product & Partner Manager at Goldbach Austria, who is responsible for expanding its network.
