“Attractive from every angle” is how car maker Peugeot advertises its latest model. An innovative promotion in Leipzig’s Paunsdorf Center brought this strapline to life over two days at the end of April: The first thing visitors to the shopping destination saw after passing through the entrance during the promotion period was the new Peugeot 408. The French car manufacturer’s brand promotion was housed in the middle of the shopping destination’s light-flooded atrium and attracted the attention of car lovers and those with an eye for stunning design.
New angles on sporty design
The hybrid version of the Peugeot 408 was staged in the main area of the Paunsdorf Center in a box mirrored on the inside. Openings on three sides allowed visitors streaming into the atrium through the entrance or from the mall to catch a direct glimpse of the gleaming metallic car within. People descending the escalator from the upper floor also saw the car roof shimmering in the daylight in its topless box. This promptly aroused curiosity among the visitors!
