With a touch of spring freshness, Lancôme’s glamorous tour of Germany stopped off during March at three of the country’s hottest shopping destinations: Pasing Arcaden in Munich, Höfe am Brühl in Leipzig and Westfield Centro in Oberhausen. The cosmetics maker used a sophisticated combination of product experience and professional advice at the Westfield centres to appeal to industry professionals and beauty enthusiasts.

Double-decker bus as a beauty hotspot

The stylish pink Lancôme double-decker placed strategically at high footcount locations outside the malls was a centre of attention. On the lower deck of the bus, visitors were offered a luxurious customer experience, with opportunities to test and experience the brand’s latest products – from nourishing serums and creams to fine lipsticks, perfumes and iconic mascara. Attentive promoters were on hand to provide personalised advice and hand out exclusive samples.

Another highlight were the master classes on the upper deck, where make-up artists and industry professionals gave exclusive guests tips and tricks from the beauty world. In addition to presenting current beauty trends, the focus was also on real-life demonstrations. The experts gave a tour of various applications, explaining the optimum techniques for long-lasting make-up and providing insights into artful combination of skin care and cosmetics. Participants were able to gather inspiration and also develop their own skills thanks to the professional guidance on hand.
