As the days slowly get longer and anticipation for the new season grows, it’s time to slip into a fresh look! Footwear brand Tamaris is ready and waiting. From 24 February to 8 March, the brand is running an eye-catching media campaign at Westfield Centro in Oberhausen and Westfield Ruhr Park in Bochum to promote its new spring collection.

Spring has sprung – with a eye-catching media presence

The Tamaris campaign is built around a strategic combination of digital and non-digital media at various touchpoints to reach as many visitors as possible, with large-scale adverts and colourful, spring-like visuals ensuring maximum visibility. In Oberhausen, the Mitteldom at Westfield Centro is the brands key focal point, with “The Halo” (a 360-degree display system) plus escalator and lift branding and large flags all creating an immersive brand experience and spreading spring messages among visitors.

At Westfield Ruhr Park, on the other hand, a huge banner at the P1 car park sets a spring-like tone as soon as you arrive. The eye-catching entrance signage is also impossible for visitors to the Bochum flagship centre to miss. The bright visuals of the new shoe collection conveyed lightness and freshness and immediately invite people to discover the new look for spring.

Bricks-and-mortar traffic – from the campaign straight to the store

This is very easy to do in Oberhausen and Bochum, with inspired visitors able to kit themselves out for spring there and then thanks to the presence of the Tamaris stores in both centres. The campaign leads them directly to the Tamaris sales floors where they can try on and buy the new collection – a perfect marriage of branding and retail. The campaign really demonstrates how the interplay of digital and non-digital can bring the brand to life on several levels.
