Burberry luxury wafting through Westfield Centro

From the end of August to the beginning of September 2023, luxury was literally in the air in the Mitteldom at the heart of Westfield Centro in Oberhausen where luxury brand Burberry was presenting its latest ‘Goddess’ perfume creation, relying not just on an extensive media campaign but also on ‘up close and personal’ contact with visitors as part of an exclusive pop-up campaign. In the world of beauty products, nothing is as important as being able to try a product for yourself. Only on the skin does the individual fragrance unfold. During the two-week promotion period, beauty fans were able to try out the high-quality perfumes for themselves.

Exclusive Burberry branding

A touch of glamour and glitz. That’s a good way to describe the pop-up action and it immediately caught the eye in the Mitteldom. The Burberry stand, in soft pink and gold, featured an imposing lioness statue on a pedestal, exuding elegance and class. Additional attention to the prominent placement was provided by exclusive Burberry branding on the lifts, escalator and 360° UDS screen. Wherever visitors looked, British-French actress Emma Mackey – the face of the Goddess campaign – was beaming at them from all sides.

In addition to the eponymous perfume ‘Burberry Goddess’, the fragrances ‘Vanilla Infusion’, ‘Vanilla Caviar’, ‘Vanilla Absolut’ and ‘Lavender’ were also available to be tried out. Experienced promoters advised visitors individually and addressed customer interests so that everyone was able to take an exclusive fragrance experience home with them. And as well as their exclusive souvenirs, customers were also able to take samples of the individual fragrances with them from the Mitteldom. These were available not just at the stand, but throughout the centre as well.

Beauty promotions in the Mitteldom

The Burberry proposition was received enthusiastically by visitors who were happy to collect fragrance samples and let themselves be carried away for a moment into the exclusive luxury world of the brand. For the Westfield Rise team, this was not the first collaboration with a luxury brand in the beauty sector: Brands such as Yves Saint Laurent and Mugler have also presented their latest creations in the Mitteldom.
